• Matching lead is also available. The lead has a leather handle, matching waxed  cotton strap, and a brass clip. Slim lead (for X-small, Small and Medium collars) is 1.25 cm (½ inch) thick and 1.2m long. Standard lead (for Large, X-large and XX-large) is 2cm (¾ inch) thick and 1m long.

Use a soft tape-measure to check the circumference of your dog’s neck. Allow a little give. Match this measurement to 'neck size' in the table below.

Alternatively, measure the size of a collar that currently fits your dog well.  Remember to measure from the fastened size, rather than the full collar size.

If the collar becomes wet and muddy, rinse off in cool water. Allow to dry naturally. Clean leather portions using the same products as you would for horse tack.

Always allow to dry naturally away from direct heat.
