• Made from high-quality Spanish saddle leather, dyed throughout so scratches won't show.
• Made from a single piece of leather, with studs securely attached through the collar. Absolutely no stitching – just strong leather and tough rivets.
• Leather is a natural product that your dog will find extremely comfortable to wear.
• Choose from nickel (solid brass coated with nickel), or solid brass studs and hardware.
• Black, chocolate and tan leathers are hardwearing and suitable for active dogs.
  
• Red leather is best kept for non-swimmers.
• Please note that there is only one collar of each specified design/colour.
  

Use a soft tape-measure to check the circumference of your dog’s neck. Allow a little give. Match this measurement to 'collar fitted length' in the table below.

Alternatively, measure the size of a collar that currently fits your dog well.  Remember to measure from the fastened size, rather than the full collar size.

We recommend black, chocolate and tan leather if your dog enjoys a regular swim. Red leather is best kept for non-swimmers or town wear.

EVERYDAY WEAR

If your dog’s leather collar gets muddy or wet, no problem – rinse off mud and debris with water, and wipe clean with a soft cloth.  Air-dry the collar away from direct heat overnight. Condition your dog’s collar occasionally using the same products as you would for horse tack.  Creature Clothes use saddle soap and neat's foot oil.

SPECIAL CARE ADVICE FOR SWIMMERS

Prolonged wetness combined with lack of conditioning can cause leather collars to crack.  Always remove your dog's leather collar and allow it to dry completely (away from heat sources) when it has been immersed in water and feels 'soaked'. If your dog swims regularly treat the collar with leather conditioner (e.g. neat's foot oil) every now and again.

These collars are normally sent via Royal Mail first class post, unless part of a larger order that may be sent by courier.
