To return an item please contact us at info@merrydogs.co.uk (or call 01904 749018) to let us know you are sending it back, and to confirm whether you require a refund or exchange. Please read the information at the end of this page if you wish to exchange an item.
Sending an item back to Merry Dogs
Your returned items must reach us:- in original condition;
- with all labels/product packaging still attached and undamaged (don't worry about the Merry Dogs tags);
- within 28 days of your receiving the item;
- with a copy of the original invoice, or name, address and order date.
If you are returning a leather collar or lead please do not fold it - this will damage the leather!! Always curl it round the buckle and send that way. Folding leather collars damages them, and we will not be able to process the refund if the collar is damaged.
You are responsible for the postage cost and postal insurance to return items. If you are returning a faulty item we will refund your postage on receipt and acceptance of the faulty goods.
For your own security, we suggest you ensure the item has sufficient insurance and is adequately packed when you post it back. We recommend you send items back via Royal Mail 'Signed For' or 'Special Delivery', depending on the level of insurance you require.
Please note: Our PO box address does not accept returns sent by courier. If you wish to return your item by courier please contact us on info@merrydogs.co.uk.
Exchanges
If your replacement item costs the same as or less than the item you are returning, we will send you the new item and refund any difference in price.If your replacement item costs more, we can contact you to take the extra payment, or you may enclose a cheque (please don't forget to add any postal charges).
Our standard postal charges apply to all exchanges. These are: free p&p on collars, leads and ID tags; £6.00 p&p on beds; £3.50 p&p on all other items.
