Postage & shipping

Where do we ship to?

The postal charges outlined below refer to deliveries to the UK (excluding Channel Islands) and BFPO addresses.

We welcome orders from countries other than the UK. Recent orders have been sent to Australia, New Zealand, mainland Europe and the USA.  If you live outside the UK please contact us by email (info@merrydogs.co.uk) with details of the items you would like to order.

We will check postage rates and inform you of the extra shipping costs and how to pay.  There may be some additional charges, for which customers will be responsible (including customs charges/import duties, and bank charges to convert currencies into UK pounds). Orders sent to other EU countries do not incur import duties or customs charges.

Postage rates for UK deliveries (excluding Channel Islands)


We try to keep our shipping charges low and make them fair.

We charge £1.00 p&p on tags, and £2.50 on most collars, leads and small, lightweight items.

Heavy items, including Tuffy toys, are charged at  £3.50.

Dog beds are charged at £7.00 per order.

You can check postage for individual products by placing them in the shopping basket.

Your order may arrive in separate packages and at different times, but you will only be charged one postage and packing fee (if applicable).

Shipping times and methods

Most items are dispatched within 3-5 working days. Some items are made-to-order, and therefore take longer to dispatch.  Check the ‘Shipping’ tab on each product page for details of that product's usual dispatch time.

Orders within the UK are sent via Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class; or via Parcelforce or courier.

Deliveries that require a signature

For deliveries requiring a signature (such as couriers) it may be more convenient to you to provide a work address for delivery if no one is at home during the day.

If you are not in when a delivery is made, the delivery service will leave a card detailing how delivery can be re-arranged. We are unable to specify a date and time of delivery.
